alfred p murrah federal building and lets play ball

Friday 12th May 2017
Today we went and got some supplies for tonight's party and some lunch before catching an Uber into Downtown to have a look around and then make our way to the baseball at the Chickasaw baseball park.  The memorial for the April 19th 1995 bombing was very nice to look at but very emotional as well.  We walked around downtown through some parks and then to Bricktown.  No its not a Lego fair but an area of old red brick warehouses and buildings that has been done up and now is an area where you can go to eat out and relax.  We had to meet for the game at 6pm and we got to experience our first ever US ball game which was pretty good.
After  that we headed back to the house where a number of Dana and Ryan's baseball friends were coming back to have a party.  It was a great night.  A few of the guys were car guys and girls and we had some good discussions about American and Australian cars and the Zippel Cruise at home etc.  I showed them some pictures of our car meets and they were blown away but the amount, type and quality of cars.
Tomorrow we head to Dallas and all I can think of is the Dallas TV show theme!!  Da, da-da, da-da, da, da, da, da.....
