Today we planned on driving south to Sulphur OK which is south of Oklahoma City to get to the Chickasaw Cultural Centre and learn something about the local Indian community and heritage as well as the Chickasaw National Park. It was only about a one and a half hour drive. We went to the cultural centre first and spent a good couple of hours there before driving in to the town and then to the national park. The national park was great as it had some lakes and man made water falls within the park. The park really was best suited for camping and fishing but also good for just having a look at and drive around.
Once finished at the park we drove back to Oklahoma City and went to the kids baseball game. We wanted to see the boys play and Ryan coach.
After the baseball game we went to a Mexican Restaurant and had some dinner which was really good. We had Coronas that were poured into a frozen glass with the rim dunked in lime juice, then in salt and the the lime squeezed into the beer and smudged on the edge of the glass. OMG they were so good and I could have just drunk beer.
Tomorrow we head into town and look around before going to the minor league baseball game. Should be fun.
