Today was a nice 600 km road trip to visit Mt Rainier and Mt St Helen. The day was beautiful and the scenery spectacular. We first headed to Mt Rainier stopping at all the vantage points along the way. From Mt Rainier it was a couple of hour drive to Mt St Helen and pretty winding road. Mt St Helen is amazing due to the fairly recent volcanic eruption in 1980. It was a full day and we had to stop for dinner before getting back to Seattle. This is truly an amazing place and these National Parks are a must if you travel this way.
