Today we drove from St Louis to Nashville Tennessee. We were going to stay at Nashville just as a stop over before getting to Greensboro. We had been to Nashville before but we wanted to do a few things while there. Went for a drive to the Outback Steakhouse for dinner and then for a look at Walmart.
Thursday 1st August 2013
Drove to the American Pickers shop first things today. This is their second shop and we thought while we are in Nashville we may as well check it out. It was literally a couple of miles from our hotel. The shop was full of things that we had seen on a number of the episodes from TV. After there we then went to the Lane Motor Museum which had a lot of unusual and one off type cars. It was really quite a surprise and was very enjoyable. Once done we got some lunch and then hit the road for Asheville North Carolina. That would leave us only about 3 hours drive from Greensboro.
