Today we had a leisurely drive of 360km to Arches National Park in Utah. They are doing work in the park which is usually open 24 hours but due to road works they close the entire park at 7pm. By the time we travelled and got lunch it was 3pm when we drove through the entrance. Utah is amazingly beautiful and the red rocks and dirt are what I love in the deserts. We got around the whole park and saw most of it in the 4 hours we had. It was 38 degrees so the walks were sweaty and hot but still awesome. We got to the motel by about 7.30pm and checked in. From there we had dinner and then had a swim in the pool. Tomorrow we had to Monument Valley which is probably one of my favourite places in the US.
