Hello to all you adventure people out there that have been waiting months for the newest instalment to the 'Adventures of Richard and Bronte,' Its been 10 months since we last posted in USA and today we arrived at LAX for a fantastic 21 day journey around California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona just to name a few places. We arrived at 8.00am local time, and it did not take long for us to clear customs and immigration and we were on the shuttle bus to Hertz to get our rental. This year we have a Jeep Liberty and it seems not too bad, may be just a bit on the big side.
We hit the road and headed to Hollywood to have a walk on the strip and take in the hustle and bustle of all the tourists. Parked at the Kodak theatre and did a lap of Hollywood Blvd on foot. Our Motel was not going to be ready until 3.00pm so we spent a couple of hours checking out the sites before making our way to Anaheim, which was about 35 miles away.
Got some lunch on the way from the Colonel and checked into good ol Days Inn. We are planning to hit Disneyland tomorrow along with California Disney. Cant wait to hit the rides!! But the first thing to do tonight was to hit Walmart and have dinner at Applebees, wow how I have been hanging out for both of those! and I can tell you they did not let me down.
Follow us every day on this great journey as it's going to be a blast full of Adventures as usual, and possibly snow, dare I say it.
