Stated the day again with a swim and a spa. The pool was amazing as it was a little overcast so it wasn't too hot just to laze around by the pool having breakfast and coffee. Once I was all wrinkly from too long in the water we went and got lunch and then went to the art museum. The art museum is pretty good as it had lots of modern art on display. This time though some of the museum was closed and being changed and renovated. Still spent a couple of hours there by the time we did the outdoors areas as well.
Went for a drive to get some Sonic ice cream which was nice. Then back to the pool to cool off. Once it cooled a little we drove to the aerial tramway to catch it up to Mt San Jacinto. The tramway is really good and by the time you get to the top (8516 feet or 2595 metres) the temperature had halved to only 20. Went for a walk around the forest to a few of the lookouts that look down to Palm Springs. We did the forest loop trail before heading back to the tramway for the trip back down. It really was beautiful up there with amazing view of the Coachella Valley. By the time we were at the bottom it was completely dark and now dinner time. Once dinner was had we went back to the hotel for some more drinks and pool and spa time. Tomorrow we are heading to Phoenix Arizona.

Very impressive photos. Lovely scenery, also the art looks great. It was 10c here today and 12c tomorrow. Don't know how you can stand the heat. Phew.
