boeing, cruising, chewing gum and chihuly glass

Sunday 4th August 2019
Today sees us go to Everett to the Boeing factory tour.  It is about an hour drive to Paine Field and the Future of Flight.  The tour goes for 90 minutes and we had booked the 11.30am one.  The tour is amazing and it is just incredible to see 747, 787 and 767's on a production line being built.  The tour is totally worth it.
We then drove back to Seattle and parked in Downtown right near pier 55.  We had booked and hour cruise of the Seattle Harbour.  Lined up and boarded the boat.  It was a beautiful day and sitting on the top of the boat it was actually quite hot.
Once the cruise was over we walked to Post Alley to see the chewing gum alley.  Bronte added his little piece of chewy to the wall for our little addition.  We then walked to Pike Place Market and down to Starbucks very first coffee shop.  We also bought a bunch of flowers in the market.
We walked back to the car and then drove to the Space Needle and parked again.  We went to Chihuly Garden and Glass which is amazing.  After the garden we had a quick ride on the monorail and then a walked around the outside of the Museum of Pop Culture and back to the car.  We drove to Applebees for dinner before heading back to the motel for our last night in Seattle.  Tomorrow we fly back to LA to start our road trip.

No 767's at Boeing, Rich. It was the 777's!
