Today we got up in good time and headed towards Cayonlands NP. It was around a 30 mile drive to the park entrance, 10 miles of that on the main road and the rest on the winding roads through the canyon. It was really nice landscape with the orange colors of the desert showing through everywhere. The park was not that big so you really could get around it all in a few hours of you wanted to. We ended up doing 3 or 4 walks and in total and walked something like 16 kms for the day. It was hot and sweaty and by the time we left the park we went straight for dinner. Tonight is our last night at Moab but we will do the Arches NP tomorrow after we checkout.
