Monday 14th June
Big road trip today, Regina to Rapid City which is basically directly south and approx 870 kms. Not to much to say other than we stopped at Willaston for lunch at Subway and the girls who were working were so intrigued with our accent and that we come from Australia "where kangaroo's fight and snakes chase you" they were only young and I don't think to many aussies go to North Dakota! We arrived at Rapid City at around 9.00pm and found our motel. Went straight out for dinner and had Applebees, we have only been to Applebees once this trip so far. Anyway once back at the motel we worked out our day for Tuesday which includes Mount Rushmore and then travelling west to Cody Wyoming ready to enter Yellowstone National Park. More photos soon.

You seem to be doing a lot of long road trips so how is the car holding up? The scenery is just beautiful. I think Sharyn lived somewhere near Calgary but I am not sure. Keep enjoying and I will see you on the 10th.
