Well the long awaited day had arrived, the day we are going to Mardi Gras with Jade and Lance.  First of all we spent the day shopping at a local mall in Greensboro and bought some clothes.  Wow the clothing was so cheap.  The day went really quickly and we ended the afternoon with a lovely frozen yogurt and then time to get ready.  We drove to the castle where Mardi Gras was being held and arrived at 10.00 pm.  There was so many people, all dressed up and down, in costume and out of costume!!!!  The event was superb and we both had a great time.  The whole place was set out with different themes in different areas with live bands, shows, fireworks and hookahs.  We stayed until the end which was 2.30 am and then went back to our hotel.  I enjoyed the night immensely but now wished that we dressed up for it.  Oh well next time, (next year) we can dress up for it.
