Today we walked to the Ernest Hemingway house and did a guided tour of the home and gardens.  The house is obviously famous as Hemingway lived there but also for the polydactyl cats.  There are about 40 cats that live in the gardens and most of them have at least one extra toe on each foot,  They are cute as the extra toe makes their paws look like hands in mittens. The Key West lighthouse is also close to the Hemmingway house and was a good view to it from the gardens.  After that we went to the beach and had a walk around.  We followed the pathway along the beach and found gardens that had been made from an old civil war fort.  The gardens were really nice and very green.  Being so tropical the entire Key West is so green.  After s few hours we ended up back at our room for a rest.  Had dinner and then decided to go to a drag show on Duval.  A quick walk down the street and we decided which show we wanted to go to see.  There was a fair amount of 'male' entertainment on Duval Street to choose from.  The drag show was not too bad, but not as good as the ones at home.  All they were concerned about was getting tips and that ruined the performances.  Tomorrow we are going jet skiing before we leave and head back to Miami Beach.
