Well today we drove from Seattle to Whistler in Canada passing through Vancouver on the way. The trip was only 350 kms but has some of the nicest scenery along the way. We decided to book one night accommodation in the Whistler Village and then travel back to Seattle the next day in readiness to fly out to Vegas on Saturday. Once passing through Vancouver the roadway follows cliffs and sea as it weaves its way to Whistler. Breath taking views all along the way. Checked into the hotel and then went for a walk to the main part of the village and the lifts to the slopes. In summer the lifts are over run by mountain bikers and they were fun to watch. We checked out the lift pass options for tomorrow and then got some dinner. We also went to the movies and saw 'Campaign' which was pretty good. Tomorrow we are doing the Peak 2 Peak gondola ride which is essentially to the top of the Blackcomb Mountain.
