Today we wanted to pop into the local DMC dealer and check out what they have. We could see through the windows the previous night and it looked cool. We met Tom at the dealership who gave us a full tour. They had two cars in original condition with less that a couple of hundred miles on them. One was untouched and the other was being completely restored. It looked beautiful. Tom gave us some freebies and we had a good chat about all things DeLorean.
We hit the road then heading for Key West. I was looking forward to driving the vast spans of bridges all the was to the southern most tip of main land USA. It was 4 seasons in one day, lots of rain on the way that was so hard you almost could not drive. Some of the individual keys on the way down were very nice and larger than I expected. Arrived at Key West and checked into our 1880's guest house which was very cute. Went for a walk down Duval St which is the main part where everyone goes. Made our way to the southern most marker for a photo. We also watched the sunset which was kind of nice. Key West have chickens everywhere and they are protected by their law. They are not scared of anything including the cars. Walked about a fair amount went back to the room and went for a swim in the pool. Went out for had some dinner and called it a night.
