Today we drove from Columbus to Tallahassee but before leaving Columbus we had a look around town and the river.  The Chattahoochee River divides Georgia and Alabama and was mostly used in the 1800's for cotton manufacture and paddle boats used the river to bring cotton to the mills.  Today the mills are condos and they would be amazing to live in.  The historic section of Columbus was beautiful and the old houses just amazing.  We did a small piece of the Chattahoochee River Walk and then a lap through Broadway which is the main street where there were plenty of art sculptures to look at.  After spending a couple of hours looking around, we headed off towards Tallahassee which is now into Florida.  Heading further south on Tuesday.
